With its colorful murals and chaotic angles (seemingly inspired by Dr. Seuss), this Vanderbilt-area eatery is a fun yet sophisticated bastion of trendiness, popular with everyone from college students to families to businesspeople in suits. Add some jazz to the wild interior design and you have a very energetic atmosphere. The menu is wildly eclectic and international, from tapas such as pork egg rolls with chipotle-juniper barbecue sauce to fried calamari served with anchovy aioli. In addition to signature salads such as the Bound'ry, which combines endive and radish relish with crispy ham, tomatoes, and black-eyed peas, "large platter" entrees include vegetarian dishes such as polenta stacked with eggplant, portobello mushrooms, and cheeses to meaty pork chops and steaks, including the 16-oz. porterhouse. Wine and beer choices are quite extensive here.
