Big, elegant, and set on 23 acres in a modern business park near the airport, this large convention hotel (second in size only to Opryland) has a commanding vista of the surrounding area. Classic Georgian styling sets the tone and conjures up the feel of an antebellum mansion. In the elegant lobby, you'll find marble floors and burnished paneling and free Wi-Fi. Public areas including the indoor pool and restaurant areas were upgraded in late 2006. Comfortable guest rooms feature sleighbeds, work desks, and three telephones. And here's good news for big-dog owners: Pets up to 80 pounds are accepted with a security deposit but no daily fee. The hotel reserves 20 rooms on the ground-floor level specifically for pet owners.
