Run by the same company that gave Nashville the Opryland Hotel and stages the Grand Ole Opry, this massive, three-story dance hall attracts everyone from country music stars to line-dancing senior citizen groups. In recent years, the saloon has tried to reach beyond its boot-scootin' roots to a more mainstream crowd by booking rock bands such as recent headliners Todd Rundgren and Styx. Because the club closes for private parties from time to time, be sure to call first before you head out.
