The Capitania used to house the port authority. Now fully renovated, this lovely neoclassical building just a few blocks from the Praça André de Albuquerque has been converted into a cultural complex, site of visiting art exhibits as well as theater and musical performances. Open Monday through Friday from 8am to noon and from 2 to 6pm.
