This European-style restaurant on a side street with a few coveted tables on the porches and air-conditioned interior is your best bet in downtown Nassau for fine dining at a relatively reasonable price (at least when compared to other fancy restaurants around town).

At lunch/brunch the menu tends toward assorted burgers, panini, and baguette sandwiches (all pretty good values, actually, for downtown Nassau), plus grilled mahi mahi, lobster, bratwurst, pork chops, entrecote, and more.

At dinner the menu is a bit all over the place—mostly European and Bahamanian with the odd Thai beef dish thrown in—but that can be a good thing: Coconut curry conch chowder, lamb shank, shrimp indienne with veggies and a soupy curry, grilled lobster... Just don’t miss the mean apple strudel for dessert.
