Hotels
New Haven lodgings are both limited and, with one notable exception, largely devoid of either charm or distinctiveness. Still, its motels and hotels fill up far in advance for Yale football weekends, alumni reunions, and graduation. The city visitor center has a hotel reservations service (tel. 800/332-7829).
