Frommer's Review
Don't let the out-of-the-way-on-a-depressing-industrial-street location (or, for that matter, a refusal to take reservations) keep you away from this reasonably priced, casual boho atmosphere restaurant. The room is small, and the wait may still be long, so you might want to time your visit for an off-hour. The menu, which remains very reasonably priced with generous portions, changes a great deal, but recent examples include an excellent summer fruit soup; solidly good spinach, mushroom and mascarpone ravioli; blackened red fish with crawfish rice; pan-seared scallops with shrimp and sausage pie and smoke tomato beurre. Each dish is a little busy -- just one less layer on everything would help. Desserts include clever variations on classics including an ice cream sandwich sundae with real hot fudge.
