Frommer's Review
A short walk into the Marigny brings you to this homey (as opposed to "homely") dive; take the walk, because rents in the Quarter are too high for any place that looks like this to be a true bargain. Back to the original menu, if not back to 24 hours (shame, that), expect fried fish, po' boys, burgers, and even quiche. Good brunch options exist as well, which is why it's packed during that time. Come for specials such as the bronzed (with Cajun spices) pork, and be sure to have some chocolate layer cake (like homemade!) and peanut butter chocolate-chip pie. If they return to late-night hours, please be careful of the sometimes-dicey neighborhood (though this is often a cop hangout, which helps).
