Frommer's Review
Formerly Semolina's (and still owned by same), this place was long urged upon us by locals -- we resisted because it seemed so ordinary. But then we watched a couple of young friends devour generous portions of two solidly made pastas -- a buttery, cheesy, garlicky Alfredo, and shrimp tossed in a light cream and olive-oil garlic sauce -- and we had some hearty, thick lasagna ourselves. And it was all flavorful, fresh, and good. And we thought "What's our problem?" Not quite as cheap as it was, and with a fancier, less immediately family-friendly interior, but still fast, open 7 days a week, and the menu has enough interest for those who want more than just Italian gloop, but enough familiars for the slightly timid. Your kids will be happy you aren't forcing weird fish on them, and you'll be satisfied by the reliable and reasonably priced food. And it does takeout.
