Frommer's Review
Mexican food has had a low profile in New Orleans, but that appears to be changing with the influx of immigrant workers in town working construction and other jobs. Taco trucks are popping up and more places are likely to follow. In the meantime Taqueria Corona still rules as the best local Mexican joint. Here you'll find football-size burritos tasting just the right way (and that means not the generic fast-food way, thanks), grilled tacos, combo platters, even gazpacho -- and all of it for minimal prices. Be sure to order a side of cebollitas, grilled and seasoned green onions.
