Frommer's Review
Part of the sprawling Ritz complex, this can be a heck of a deal, because while the rooms aren't nearly as fancy as at the sister properties, they are still comfortable, while guests get to avail themselves of all the other Ritz amenities for a usually considerably smaller daily rate. By the time you add in the generous breakfast (including enormous waffles) and the sparkling service, you are hardly likely to miss the posh factor. Especially during the summer, this may be the best deal in the city, and certainly one to consider for families. Rooms are a tad motel-y, with small but nice baths, but it is good to have a living room with a sleeper sofa and TV. Queen rooms have lighter colors and are prettier.
