Here's a local favorite for drinks on the white-columned porch under spreading oak trees. Why? Well, aside from the Old South setting, beers at happy hour are a measly $2, and mixed drinks are not much more. Watching a downpour from the safety of that classic veranda is rather on the awesome side. Inside, you will think you've stumbled onto the set of Pretty Baby -- because, in fact, you have. The interiors were shot here. All that perfect New Orleans atmosphere may not make up for how one can be engulfed in cigarette smoke in the dark interior bar.
