Planning a Trip

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism maintains a tourist information booth at the Nassau International Airport in the arrivals terminal (tel. 242/377-6806; www.bahamas.com). Hours are from 9am to 10pm daily.

Information can also be obtained from the Information Desk at the Ministry of Tourism's Office, Bolam House, George Street (tel. 242/302-2000), which is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. It's also available from the tourist information booth at Festival Place (tel. 242/323-3182 or 242/323-3183), where the cruise ships dock. The Festival Place Tourist information kiosk is usually open daily year-round from 7:45am to 6pm.
