Frommer's Review
Expect to be greeted here with a small "Queen Cocktail" of rum served in a tiny snifter with a sugar-coated rim. This restaurant -- far south of the main action in Nha Trang, near the entrance to the Ana Mandara -- attracts a good contingent of expats and Brits angling to find a good facsimile of their national food. North Indian, Mughlai, and Kashmiri cuisine are all authentic, delicious, and affordable. Standard starters include crispy samosas and cucumber salad. From there, the subcontinent is your oyster. Good tandoori dishes; curries with mutton, chicken, or beef; fish or prawn curries and soups; biryani; and good vegetarian selections (try the chef's secret recipe for dal) round out the menu. They have good set menus from $7/£3.90 (for meat) and $6/£3.35 (for vegetarian). This place is just a storefront on the busy beachside road among lots of minihotels, but that doesn't discourage its many repeat visitors.
