Frommer's Review
Here's a very good, relatively new, and clean, oversize minihotel with an elevator. The Sea View is right in the heart of the busy backpacker area, and you'll have to be on higher floors to garner any actual sea view, but rooms are large, simple, and tidy, with tile floors and shower-in-room-style bathrooms, some with balconies. Amenities are few, but the hotel is convenient to the busy downtown and the very helpful staff can arrange anything from rentals to transfers and onward travel. Being close to downtown means that, especially with street-facing rooms, you get up close and personal with rowdy revelers who take to the streets when the bars shut down. The shallow pool on the first floor is tepid and cloudy (I've never seen anyone in it), but it's tempting to jump into from surrounding balconies. Don't think about it.
Facilities:
Outdoor pool; tour desk; laundry service
