It should be no surprise that there are tons of souvenir shops on either side of the falls, selling everything from commemorative spoons to snow globes. There are also a couple of things you can get only on the Canadian side, such as Cuban cigars (of course, you're not supposed to bring them back over the border). Lots of places sell them (you'll see the signs). One of the better shops is Gordon's Cigars and Pipes, 5856 Ferry St., Niagara Falls, Ontario (tel. 905/358-7425). His best cigars are in the back room. For a souvenir emblazoned with the red coats of the Canadian Mounties, head to the Mounted Police Trading Post, 5685 Falls Ave. (tel. 800/372-0472).
