Combining one of the best restaurants in town with the best unobstructed falls view, the Marriott Hotel's restaurant is an ideal -- if pricey -- fine-dining experience. Yes, every table has a view of the falls, but with just one wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, some tables are better than others -- try to get one as close as possible to the windows. The restaurant, done in classic deep reds with low lighting, makes for a romantic experience. And the cuisine is some of the city's best, incorporating local fruits wherever possible and fusing traditional Italian, French, and Asian cuisines. There are pastas on the menu, but you'll want to come for steak and/or seafood, the specialties. Consider delicious entrees such as rack of lamb with a red-wine reduction, or the signature dish: sea bass with cilantro chili and a raspberry reduction. There's also an extensive wine list featuring area wines.
