Frommer's Review
Rising 26 stories above the low-slung landscape, this newcomer (which opened fully in 2006) has quickly become the luxury standard-bearer for the area. No, you won't get a view of the falls -- the hotel is a few blocks away -- but for a combination of modern amenities and comfort, it's hard to do better on either side of the falls. Rooms are decked out in subdued tones and plump furniture, along with Native American design touches, in honor of the Seneca Indian owners. Even the standards are large, but upgrade to a corner suite and you'll get an enormous space, two full walls of floor-to-ceiling windows, and a Jacuzzi tub with a dramatic view (on one side of the hotel, anyway) of the river and the Canadian skyline. Flat-screen TVs and great sound systems make it hard to leave the rooms, but you'll want to explore the several fine restaurants (their steakhouse is reviewed below), spa, shows, and of course lots of gambling space.
Facilities:
5 restaurants; 2 delis; 3 lounges; large indoor pool; exercise room; spa; Jacuzzi; concierge; tour desk; business center; salon; 24-hour room service; massage; laundry service; same-day dry cleaning; high-roller rooms
