Frommer's Review
The core of this hotel dates from the 18th century, when it was built as a private home. A stay here involves trekking to your room up steep flights of creaking stairs and navigating a labyrinth of corridors. The small rooms are deliberately old-fashioned, usually containing antiques or antique reproductions and creaky, yet comfortable, beds. Most of the compact tiled bathrooms come with tub/shower combinations (four have showers only). The staff long ago grew jaded to the fact that the hotel is less than perfect, but at these prices, who's complaining?
