Frommer's Review
The Page House Inn had Norfolk's B-and-B business all to itself until the father-daughter team of Robert and Roxanne Epstein hired an English interior designer to remake this three-story, 1897-vintage Victorian into a romantic retreat. Although it's technically on York Street, the house actually faces Brambleton Avenue in the historic Freemason neighborhood, a few blocks walk to downtown. Tall windows and white walls brighten the entire house during the day, while working gas fireplaces in the antique-laden guest quarters add coziness at night. Three of the four rooms also have two-person Jacuzzi tubs. Two have king beds, including the Wishing Oak Bridal Suite, named for an ancient oak tree under which many a Norfolk knot was tied. A back porch with wicker furniture overlooks a landscaped courtyard. Gourmet quality breakfasts are served in bed if you wish, wine and cheese are put out each evening, and bicycles are available for guests to ride.
Facilities:
Free bicycles; limited room service (breakfast only); wireless Internet access
