Frommer's Review
This contemporary resort has the best location of any hotel close to the Conways. Sited at the base of dramatic White Horse Ledge near Echo Lake State Park, in a modern golf-course community, the hotel was built in 1990 but its style borrows from classic area resorts. The designers have somehow managed to take some of the more successful elements of a friendly country inn -- a nice deck with a view, comfortable seating in the lobby and a clubby tavern area -- and incorporate them into a thoroughly modern resort. The comfortably appointed guest rooms here are a solid notch or two above standard hotel furnishings.
