Frommer's Review
On the edge of the village of Beetsterzwaag (Beetstersweach) is this gracious three-story château dating from 1868. Green lawns and huge shady trees surround the lovely place, and an 18-hole golf course is just across the way. The grounds contain beautiful forest walks, and the decor -- in both public rooms and guest rooms -- is elegant. A high level of service, pool, and the La Prairie wellness center just add to the attractions here. The restaurant De Heeren van Harinxma, where you dine by candlelight in a paneled dining room overlooking a garden, enjoys a top reputation throughout this part of Holland and is a member of the prestigious Alliance Gastronomique Néerlandaise.
