Tips for Travelers with Pets

Traveling with pets can be a real joy, or a danger to them, especially here in the high desert where interior car temperatures can be deceptively high -- or low. It's best not to leave your pet unattended for more than a few minutes.

More and more hotels in the region are becoming pet friendly. Look in the service information of the listed accommodations for the ones that welcome them. In a pinch, you can always rely on Motel 6 for accepting pets. Websites worth checking out include www.petswelcome.com, www.pettravel.com, and www.travelpets.com.
