With a beautiful setting high in the Eola Hills, this winery is an ideal place for a picnic. The chardonnays, from both estate-grown grapes and grapes grown elsewhere in the region, are quite good and fall in the $25 price range. Cristom is one of the few wineries in the region producing Viognier from estate-grown grapes. They have also planted some Syrah grapes.
