Located in the same building as the Ponzi Wine Bar and the Your Northwest gift shop, this chic eatery would be right at home in Portland's trendy Pearl District. The bistro's hip, urban style, however, also epitomizes a modern wine-country aesthetic, which makes this place quite popular with people touring the area wineries. The menu is relatively short and changes on a regular basis to reflect the region's best seasonal ingredients, which translates into the likes of smoked salmon carpaccio with orange, olive tapenade, capers, and shaved fennel; pork loin with Parmesan polenta and chanterelle mushrooms; beef shoulder with cannelloni beans and spinach, and truffled foie gras butter. The wine list focuses on area wines.
