This casual spot is popular both with people touring the wine country and those headed to or from the coast. The crab cakes here are a must-have, and are best accompanied by a local pinot gris. Other good choices include a sandwich made with hazelnut-crusted salmon and wild-mushroom ravioli. There are usually a half dozen or so daily specials. Because this is the best place for miles around, there is usually a wait for a table on summer weekends. If the weather is nice, try to get a table on the deck.
