This old-world palace is the best place to stay in Nürnberg. The Grand is a solid six-story blockbuster built "when hotels were really hotels" -- that is, before World War I. Rooms are the finest and most spacious in town. Furnishings are first-rate and stylish, and the roomy bathrooms are exceedingly well-maintained, with deluxe toiletries and tub/shower combos. Many have a private sitting area.
