A offbeat choice, this is the first theme hotel ever established in Nürnberg. The Three Ravens (its English name) offers individually decorated bedrooms, each chamber decorated according to a local legend. One room is devoted to Dürer, and another to a modern-day saga -- Nürnberg's famous soccer team. The most unusual junior suite is called "Legend and Bathtub Enchantment," for up to three guests. Standing in the middle of the room is an enchanting bathtub. Less expensive are the standard rooms, which are equally comfortable but lacking the drama of the theme rooms. As a startling entrance, the reception area is decorated with pods to evoke the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. The location is a 5-minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof, the main train station.
