A tall historic center house from 1675 has been thoughtfully brought up to date without losing its homey ambiance. Most of the nicely sized bedrooms are equipped with pine armoires and other comfortable, traditional furnishings. A few are more contemporary, and a few others are quite grand, with tall, frescoed ceilings and canopied beds. All have use of a sauna, exercise room, and roof terrace. Buffet breakfast is served in a series of paneled rooms off the reception area on the first level, a little lounge faces a garden on the ground floor, and all floors are connected by an elevator.
