Nusa Dua has some fine dining, mostly at the hotels, all with high prices for this part of the world. There are few other options short of the small warungs in town. Bumbu Bali (Jalan Pratama; tel. 361/774502; www.balifoods.com), run by former Grand Hyatt chef Heinz von Holzen, serves authentic Balinese food in a well-appointed environment. The restaurant also offers entertaining cooking classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Across from the Ramada Resort is the new fusion restaurant Tao (Jalan Pratama; tel. 361/772902; www.taobali.com), decorated with Buddhist statues and featuring a lagoon pool, lounge chairs, and beachside tables where diners are free to laze about all day. Another good choice is Raja's, at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel (tel. 361/771219), which serves tasty traditional Balinese fare.
