One of your initial thoughts might be, "Where's the ride?" This massive hotel looks like a Disneyfied fortress, complete with ornate Balinese gates and a central stage area for daily cultural performances. There is no ride, but there is free babysitting at the kids' camp, where your children will be occupied with Balinese dress-up costumes, a huge playground, and video games. Meanwhile, you can relax on the resort's private beach. When the management changed from the Hilton to a local company in 2006, a conscious effort was made to provide guests with a Balinese cultural experience, from the folk art in the rooms to music and dance performances. More effort has been directed to the common rooms than the guest rooms, which are decent but nothing special.
