Balé ReviewBalé means "bungalow" in Balinese, but the moniker is rather modest -- this is an absolutely beautiful collection of villas set on a hill overlooking the ocean. Each villa has its own plunge pool and a daybed in the courtyard. The interiors are elegantly simple, with large bathrooms and outdoor showers. While not set right on the beach, the Balé has a shuttle that whisks you to its own private beach club in 2 minutes. The resort is popular with yuppies and gay couples.
