Frommer's Review
This is another memorable oceanfront dining room -- pale and full of light, with a white grand piano at the entrance and sweeping views of the ocean (ask for a table by the window). The menu merges island cooking styles and ingredients, as in their signature sautéed opakapaka (pink snapper) crusted with macadamia nuts and cilantro with ginger scented jasmine rice and a kaffir lime sauce; the wonderful seafood duo (tempura ahi with orange miso glazed Kona kampachi) with Molokai sweet potatoes and Big Island hearts of palm salad; or the popular Bali trio, which combines the signature opakapaka with grilled filet mignon and lemongrass prawns in a spicy mango coulis. The menu also features "heart healthy" items like the angel hair pasta with vine-ripened Hawaii tomatoes, Big Island mushrooms, and island-grown asparagus in a basil tomato sauce. Save room for their mouthwatering desserts.
