Frommer's Review
Award-winning beers and an eclectic menu of sandwiches, pizza, seafood, and ethnic specialties are the draw at this industrial-tropical microbrewery in the Ward Centre. The ahi sampler of poke (fresh raw fish, seaweed, onions, and spices), blackened ahi, and sashimi is especially popular. Diners, many of them under 30, can sit indoors or on the terrace to sample the wide-ranging menu. Poke, chicken curry, barbecued ribs, and items from East and West draw the lunchtime and late-night crowd. Brew Moon's physical space was an attempt at an architectural statement, featuring curved banquettes, high ceilings, hidden niches, and views of mountain and sea. Tip: Zero Gravity Hours, when drink prices are slashed ($3-$4 for beer, $3 for house wines, and discounted pupu menu), are held daily from 3 to 7pm.
