Chef/owner Laura Proserpio makes everything from scratch and to order. As a result, you won't find a better bruschetta, pasta carbonara or marinara, and risotto in Waikiki. The menu is built on uncompromising basics such as generations-old recipes and long hours of simmering soups and sauces. Dinner is a prix-fixe menu consisting of appetizer or salad, soup (usually fish, lentil, or vegetable, and always good), and entree, which could be a porcini risotto, homemade ravioli, or any of several veal selections.
