In 2007, this 1967 hotel/condo underwent $60 million in upgrades, additions and renovations to bring it into step with the new look of Waikiki. A rooftop pool with cabanas, reflecting pool in the lobby/courtyard, spa, second-floor pool, cafe in the port cochere, and glass railings on the lanais were added. In 2004, all guest rooms were refurbished, and the public areas (lobby and restaurant) were upgraded and opened up to display the spectacular ocean view. Rooms overlook the ocean and mountains. Great deals are offered for seniors, and family packages include rooms with full kitchen, midsize car, and free parking.
