Eyeglass Repair -- The local choice is Accurate Optical, 118th Street, near the Food Lion supermarket (tel. 410/524-0220).

Library -- The Ocean City branch of the Worcester County Library is at 14th Street and Philadelphia Avenue (tel. 410/289-7297). The new North Ocean City branch at 100th Street and Coastal Highway is due to open in 2008.

Newspapers -- Ocean City's weekly newspaper is Ocean City Today. Dailies from Baltimore, Washington, and Philadelphia are also available.

Post Office -- The main post office is located at 71st Street and Coastal Highway, bay side (tel. 410/524-7611). A new post office opened in 2007 at the Visitor's Center on Route 50 west of the bridge into Ocean City.
