Carousel Resort Hotel ReviewThe Carousel is an attractive choice for families and couples. One of the oldest of north Ocean City's high-rises, it offers plenty of amenities, including pools indoor and out, restaurants, a beach bar and grill, a playground, and even pizza delivery. Rooms are well-equipped, if small, and even have kitchenettes. If those 237 rooms aren't enough, 102 two- and three-bedroom oceanfront condo units are available in the 22-story tower. Some are decorated by the hotel; others are privately owned with varying decor. Carousel is a conference center and can be fully booked. Off-season, the hotel offers some great values. | 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
