Owned by a longtime O.C. hotelier family, the Park Place is designed to meet vacationing families' every need. Built in 2000, the hotel has standard rooms with space enough for all that beach paraphernalia. All have kitchenettes and pullout sofas; oceanfront rooms have balconies; and bay-view rooms are a bit bigger. Bay-view king rooms have Jacuzzis as well.
