The Ocho Rios outpost of Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville empire (this location was actually an unlicensed knockoff until 2001) offers everything from a tiki bar to a two-story waterslide in the pool (and a hot tub on the roof) in the pier-side Island Village shopping and entertainment complex. Cruise shippers and other tourists spend the day downing the namesake margaritas and cheeseburgers in paradise from the grill.

After 10pm, however, it becomes “Club Ville,” one of the most popular nightspots in town, a crowded bar and folks dancing to mostly reggae, mento, dance hall, and chill island sound—this is Jimmy Buffett’s joint, after all—as well as the occasional live performance (no, not from Jimmy). The drinks (and the food) are decidedly on the expensive side.

Tuesday night from 11pm to 2am is the all-you-can-drink night: $24.95 gets you a cup which you can refill endlessly with Red Stripe, Smirnoff, or Trelawny Gold Label Rum. All other nights, there is a cover charge of $10 after 10pm.
