This refined, modern restaurant, with seating for only 32 lucky diners, serves set meals which change once a month (it also has an a la carte menu, but it's in Japanese only). The food is French, but each course is served in the kaiseki manner: separately, using Japanese plates and dishes, and eaten with chopsticks instead of forks. Each plate is chosen to enhance the food according to color, texture, and the seasons. This restaurant has been around a long time -- long before fusion dining became the rage -- and it's still highly recommended.
