This is a great lunch choice for Osaka Castle sightseers. Decorated in Polynesian style typical of Trader Vic's branches around the world, it offers dining with a view of the castle, the park, and the river. There's a lunch special (served Mon-Sat until 2:45pm) for ¥1,500 ($13), as well as a la carte lunch selections that include hamburgers, club sandwiches, pasta, and other international fare. Or come for the Sunday champagne brunch (served 11:30am-2:45pm), when for ¥1,000 ($8.35) extra you can drink unlimited sparkling wine. Dinners offer a wider, and more expensive, selection, including salads, a good range of vegetable side dishes, curries, steaks, seafood, barbecued chicken, and Chinese dishes. There's also an extensive cocktail menu.
