Partly recommended because of the gorgeous views over both Oslo and the countryside around Noordmarka, Kafé Seterstua is found in a wooden chalet furnished in a traditional Norwegian manner with vaulted timber ceilings and pine tables. The cafe does brisk business all summer long with hikers and cyclists keen to fill up on open sandwiches piled high with shrimps, meatballs, or gravadlax. Over the winter months a delicious creamy fondue is served to skiers and boarders to keep the cold at bay.
