Animal lovers of all ages will enjoy this well-regarded animal park (the animals may be on show, but the ranch is involved in breeding programs to help build up cheetah, Bengal tiger, and pigmy hippo numbers). Entrance fees allow you to wander on wooden walkways through the Valley of the Ancients past various tropical species, plus crocodiles, lemurs, and a pigmy hippo "village." Besides the opportunity for those over 16 to stroke cheetah (and kids over 12 to pet baby lion, tiger, or cheetah cubs, if available), the ranch's key claim to fame is the world's only crocodile cage diving facility on the planet (children from 12 years can participate with an adult). You'll be lowered into a clear, heated pool that contains five full-grown crocs -- they promise you'll get close enough to see their toenails.
