This is one of two alfresco restaurants that sit adjacent to each another at the edge of a pleasant but not very well-known public garden known as the Giardino Garibaldi, right at the point where the narrow streets of medieval Palermo open onto a network of 19th-century avenues and piazzas. The plastic armchairs of this restaurant are green, as opposed to the yellow chairs of the restaurant next door, with whom there's a friendly rivalry. The menu lists two dozen pizzas; pastas that include the ubiquitous pasta alla Norma made with eggplant, as well as a version with either smoked salmon or smoked swordfish; and main courses that focus on grilled steaks (beef, pork, and veal), roulades, and fresh fish.
