With the addition of the “Private Wing” in 2014, Puro marked its 10th anniversary as Palma’s hippest hotel by expanding the options for luxury travelers. The wing includes 11 guest suites on the upper levels along with lounges, living rooms, a spa, a massage area, and a full kitchen on the ground level. The original wing is no slouch, either. During the expansion, the original Puro got a larger bar and restaurant, and some new furniture in warm-colored leathers and earth-tone fabrics to tone down the dazzling white decor it boasted when it opened. Guest rooms still exhibit an air of whimsy, and they’re all fitted with 52-inch TVs and Bose surround-sound audio systems. The roof terrace with lounge and plunge pool remains one of the most desirable places to be seen in Palma.
