Frommer's Review
No chef is more celebrated in Palma than Jaime Oliver -- no relation to The Naked Chef. His splendid kitchen, located on the ground floor of the previously recommended Convent de la Missió, offers the island's most creative cuisine. To enjoy it, reserve well in advance, especially if you want a table on the open-air terrace. The best of seasonal produce -- backed up by a varied wine list -- awaits diners, who can also sit in the main room decorated with black-and-white photographs of Majorcan salt mounds. After a plate of poached eggs and mushrooms with crème and soy emulsion, you have to taste the equally delectable lamb in a crust of basil and goat cheese. You are also likely to devour the candied style squid, stuffed with shrimp and pine nut praline. The menu changes frequently. The daily changing desserts are among the most sumptuous on the island.
