Tips for Single Travelers

Many hotels offer a "single" rate which is either a smaller room or a standard double at a lower price. Where solo travelers are really hit is with package vacations that add the dreaded "single supplement" to the base price. Still, traveling as part of an organized tour or at a package lodge provides for companions on a journey.
