Like its name implies, this restaurant is full of lush vegetation and surrounded by glass walls -- it tries to be a little hipper than it really is, but Greenhouse is contemporary and fresh, and cooled by a good air-conditioning system. It's better to stop here for lunch or an afternoon snack than for dinner; the place is very casual, and the sandwiches, wraps, and appetizers are better than the main courses. Greenhouse has more than a dozen hot and cold wraps -- fresh tuna, smoked salmon, and falafel, among others; sandwiches are hearty and include a delicious portobello mushroom sandwich, and probably the only veggie burger available in Panama City. Fresh salads, shish kabobs, hummus and antipasto platters, plus a couple of heavier fish and meat dishes round out the menu. There is a happy hour with half-off drinks from 5 to 8pm.
