The new kid on the block, Ego is a cosmopolitan bar/cafe, on a quiet corner of Plaza Bolívar, that serves tapas. Make a meal out of hot chile ceviche; a salad of arugula, fig, and Camembert cheese; and cilantro beef skewers. Nicely mixed cocktails, a long swooshing bar, and outdoor seating are a few of Ergo's perks. (There's air-conditioned seating indoors.) Large, cold pitchers of sangria are also a treat.
